On Sunday we looked at the different ways that Jesus is represented on the internet (youtube in particular) but this site seemed to be the favorite.  Jesus with you always is a place that reminds us that even in the most mundane or trivial aspects of life, Jesus is right there with us (no matter how creepy looking).  The site includes drawings of Jesus with a fisherman, golfer, juggler and my personal favorite the forest ranger.  No matter how silly or weird we might think this is, it’s a good reminder of the presence of God in our lifes.

Hey everyone, just a reminder that this Sunday is our church’s annual benefit musicale.  This year it is going to be super kid friendly with tons of familiar Disney songs that I’m sure they know by heart (I know I can’t get “It’s a Small World” out of my head, no matter how hard I try).  Not only will it be a lot of fun but this is one of our largest fund raisers for the ministries of the church.  So please join us at 5pm on Sunday for a great night and an even better cause.

Get ready middle schoolers, the craziness of CHAOS starts tomorrow from 4-5:30!  We bumped up the time to help those families that have younger kids coming to W@W but don’t worry, we are still going to have our own time of music, games and more.  See you tomorrow from 4-5:30!

All middle school students (grades 6-8) are invited to join us for the back to school burger bash and crud war spectacular on Friday night September 11 from 6-9 pm.  Meet at church so we can load up and head off to join over 200 students from around Los Angeles for a crazy evening.  Make sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting REALLY MESSY and bring a towel to help clean yourself.  This entire evening of food, friends and fun only costs $10.  If you have any questions please let me know.  See you there!

We will not be able to do our day of service tomorrow at PATH because I have been summoned for jury duty.  Sorry for the inconvenience and I promise that we will reschedule for some time in the very near future.

Just a reminder that we are having a high school day of service at the PATH mall tomorrow.  Meet at church at 8 am (I’ll have donuts and coffee waiting) and we will be back at 3 pm.  This is a great way to get a jump start on the service hours you need for school.  Please let me know if you plan on coming out!
