Westwood Presbyterian Church 10822 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90024

On Sunday, April 7, 2019 the WPC Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra will present Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, K. 626 here in the Sanctuary. Mozart’s final composition was incomplete at the time of his death. This reconstruction was created by musicologist Richard Maunder in the 1980’s and will be performed by soloists Christina Borgioli (soprano), Nandani Maria Sinha (alto), Orson Van Gay (tenor), and Matthew Lewis (bass) and the WPC Chancel Choir and Chamber Symphony, under the direction of Dan Redfeld. The Maunder edition was made famous by Christopher Hogwood and the Academy of Ancient Music’s 1984 recording on the Editions de l’Oisseau-Lyre label and is rarely performed in the U.S. Admission to the concert is $20 for adults and $10 for students. Guests under 18 are admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Free parking is available adjacent to the church at the AVCO/iPic lot. For more information, please call us at (310) 474-4535.
