Faith Conversations - Taiwan: History & Christian Landscape
Sun, May 19th 11:20am - 12:30pm
Hoffman Hall
Westwood Presbyterian Church 10822 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90024

Did you know that Presbyterians make up the largest Christian denomination in Taiwan? Or that the Presbyterian Church of Taiwan has been ordaining women for longer than the PCUSA? The history and Christian landscape of Taiwan are indeed fascinating and inspiring, and especially relevant in light of rising tensions between Taiwan and China. Starting May 19, you are invited to join us for a special two-part series to learn about Taiwan’s history and what God is doing there. Pastor Matt Hardin will be teaching and sharing stories and photos from his DMin travel seminar to Taiwan last fall. Classes will be held in Hoffman Hall from 11:20am—12:30pm and refreshments will be provided.
