Los Angeles holds the terrible title of being the homeless capital of the nation with nearly 66,000 individuals on our streets. On Wed., January 22, hundreds of volunteers will take to the streets to count our homeless neighbors for the 2020 Los Angeles Homeless Authority Homeless Count and, again, WPC will be a deployment site! This is purely a count to take a census of the population. It is through these numbers that Los Angeles receives the funding necessary to care as best we can for these individuals.
