Since July, 2021, Pastor Mark has been recovering from injuries sustained when he was attacked by a person he had tried to help. While he is returning to work on a part-time basis for now – in the office two days/week – we are thrilled that he is blessing us with his wisdom in worship! Juneteenth (also known as Jubilee Day, Emancipation Day, Freedom Day, and Black Independence Day). This federal holiday commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans, and is also an opportunity to celebrate the blessings of Black culture. Father’s Day. The celebration of fathers and paternal bonds has been marked by Americans on the 3rd Sunday of June since 1910. It is an opportunity for us to honor not only members of our families, but also those who have influenced us through our family of faith. Our Graduates. It is our honor to recognize all of WPC’s students who celebrate this milestone– whether completing graduate school, college, high school, middle school, or elementary school.
