Saint Bonaventure once wrote that "Every creature is a divine word because it proclaims God." It's in that spirit that we are delighted to host a service of blessing for our animals on Sunday, October 16 at 10am! All animals are welcome to join us in worship as long as they are restrained or contained at all times. This will be a simplified and shortened service both for the sake of our animals, and for our youth and children who will be worshiping in the sanctuary that day. (Childcare will be available.) The balcony will be reserved as a "pets-free" zone for anyone with allergies. If your animal experiences anxiety around crowds, consider bringing a picture of them to be blessed instead. This service is designed to be fun and engaging for all ages! Now that COVID rates in LA County have dropped to the green or “low” tier, we are loosening restrictions.
