5-week small group series

In a continued effort to bring forth conversation, education, spiritual growth, and action in pursuit of racial justice, the Spiritual Formation Committee is offering a 5-week small group series discussing the memoir I'm Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown. I’m Still Here offers an illuminating look at Brown’s personal experience as a black, Christian woman in America. Brown invites her readers to confront apathy toward racism, recognize God's ongoing work in the world, and explore how we might participate in real change. Small groups began meeting weekly over Zoom the week of October 11. Group offerings are as follows:

  • Sunday afternoons, 2:00-3:30pm
  • Monday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm
  • Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm
  • Thursday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm
  • Thursday evenings, 8:00-9:00pm (college-age participants)
  • Friday mornings, 9:30-11:00am
